12 Stones Picture
12 Stones are a hard rock/metal Christian (or at least CMI!) band which formed in Mandeville, Louisiana in the early 2000's. Only after a few months in which the four members, Paul McCoy (vocals and guitar), Eric Weaver (guitar), Greg Trammell (guitar), and Aaron Gainer (drums) jammed together, they were signed up with Wind-Up Records. In 2002, they released their debut self-titled CD along with the hit singles 'Broken' and 'The Way I Feel', while also releasing a live-performance video for the first song on the album, 'Crash' later in 2003 as well as release a full performance of most of the songs on '12 Stones' in a live special entitled 'Broken TV'. Also in late 2002/2003, Paul McCoy joined together with the gothic rock band Evanescence and provided back-up vocals for their successful debut single 'Bring Me to Life' to bring publicity to both bands. (This was actually intended by the record label and not the band 'Evanescence' themselves, since 12 Stones and Evanescence share the same record company) 12 Stones also recorded a song called 'Let Go' for the Daredevil soundtrack, making it lead singer Paul McCoy's second appearance on the soundtrack.

Let Go Lyrics

12 Stones

I'am ready let go and this it

I feel so alone again
I know that I need you
To help me make it through the night
And I pray that you believe in me
You gave me my strength
To face another day alone
And I need you now my friend
More than you know yah
When will we meet again
Cause i can't let go of you
This world brings me down again
I know that I need you
To help me make it through the night
And I know that you're the one for me
You gave me my strength to face another day alone
And I need you now my friend
More than you know yah
When will we meet again
Cause I can't let go no I can't let go
As time passes by I find
Things never seem to change
When i feel alone
You bring me back to you
And I need you now my friend
More than you know yah
When will we meet again
Cause I can't let go of you
No I cant let go
